Meet Our Trustees.


Chairman & Treasurer
Peter Simpson
Peter is Chairman & Treasurer for Wellbeing in the Weald. He is a chartered accountant whose most recent role was Financial Director for Pilgrims Hospices in East Kent.
He was elected as a Trustee and Treasurer to Wellbeing in the Weald in 2022 and plays an active role in the charity's strategic development plans. Peter lives in Sissinghurst.

Trustee
Andrew Chandler
Andrew is a solicitor and works as a consultant to advise leading businesses, trade associations and public sector clients on commercial contracts, competition law, distribution and risk.
Andrew was formerly a partner at Eversheds LLP. He is also involved with educational organisations; has held other charity Trustee positions, is a school governor, and has also held patient representative roles at RCP.

Founder & Trustee
Dr Dineli Charlesworth
Dineli founded Wellbeing in the Weald in 2019, having recognised a need to help people holistically as well as with medical treatment.
Since 2004 Dineli has been a GP at Orchard End Surgery, Cranbrook. She specialises in women's health and in particular safeguarding and mental health issues. She lives just outside Cranbrook.

Dr Debbie Jones
Debbie is one of the founders of Wellbeing in the Weald, alongside Dineli, and became a Trustee at its inception as a charity in June 2019.
She retired from work as a psychiatrist in the NHS in 2018. She has lived in Cranbrook for 25 years where she is a regular worshipper at St Dunstan’s Church.

Trustee
Laura Wade
Laura's career was as a Marketing & Business Development Manager for Allan & Overy and other law firms in London, specialising in Intellectual Property. After leaving London she ran her own business for 3 years.
She runs projects for WITW including fundraising events, social media and marketing activities. Laura is married and lives in Frittenden.

Trustee
Seamus O'Brien
Seamus worked for Santander as a Technical Specialist in their IT department for many years.
Before that he worked for a number of technology companies including HP and Siemens.
He provides IT advice and assistance at Wednesday Drop-ins. He lives in Cranbrook.

Trustee
Alison Burdick
Alison lives in Cranbrook and runs a strategic marketing agency in London. Alison has been supporting us in various ways since she joined us as a volunteer including teaching our free yoga class each week.
Now as a Trustee, Alison will help us reach as many people as possible to spread the good word of Wellbeing in the Weald and look at ways that we can further support the needs of our community.

Administrator
Samantha Polok
Samantha is an experienced administrator and works many roles including providing administrative and financial support to the Wellbeing in the Weald team.
