Cranbrook Goes Nuts in May: a fabulous community event
This annual event seems to get better each year with many people coming along from Cranbrook as well as surrounding villages.
Our stall was located in the middle of the High Street (which fortunately is closed to traffic on the day!), and we had a lovely day in the warm sunshine selling a range of local home made produce to help raise money for the community projects that we offer ourselves, and in support of other local organisations.
This year we also held a raffle and had a great response. The winners are:

All the money we raise at events like these go back into our community activities, supporting people in Cranbrook and surrounding villages.

Spring Plant Sale - a great success
Wellbeing in the Weald held its first plant sale in Frittenden on Saturday 20th May 2023. As well as a wide range of both young and mature plants for sale, visitors had the opportunity to enjoy drinks and cakes in the sunshine.
We were delighted to have such a great response from residents of Frittenden and surrounding villages, and we raised over £950. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who came along and supported us.
We met some lovely people and had some great chats.
Every penny raised goes back to fund our community groups and activities.
A big thank you to all our volunteers and helpers on the day.

Quiz Night - Fundraiser
We had a full house for our first fundraising event of the year - a Quiz Night held in the Vestry Hall in Cranbrook in early February. Great fun was had by all and we were able to raise over £2,000 from local residents who came along to support us.
We had a fabulous response from local businesses who donated a large number of products, gifts and vouchers for our raffle. We are hugely grateful to all the businesses who donated these for the evening. We had a very enticing range of lovely prizes which helped us to sell lots of raffle tickets.
Thank you to all those who bought tickets and came along on the evening, to the local businesses who supported the event, and all the volunteers who helped to make it a very successful evening.
