Promoting health and wellbeing to build a stronger community

Wellbeing Walks

Grab a pair of sturdy shoes or boots and join us on a short walk in the beautiful Wealden countryside.

Our Wellbeing Walks explore the beautiful countryside surrounding the historic market town of Cranbrook

Covid-19 update: All Health Walks are currently suspended due to the national lockdown from the 5th January and previously due to Kent being in Tier 4 from the 20th December. This is in place until further notice and we will update this page with more information when we are able to restart our walks again.

Starting from various locations around Cranbrook, the walks take approximately one hour and are tailored to be accessible to most people although they could contain some uneven ground, gentle inclines and mud.

All walks are led by trained Health Walk Leaders and the groups are a very friendly way to socialise while enjoying fresh air and gentle exercise.

We currently have several control measures in place due to the Covid-19 pandemic. These include: group size restricted to ten walkers (including the leader), staggered start times for groups, starting locations moved away from the high street, walk leaders carry PPE and hand sanitiser for emergency use, and social distancing being maintained throughout.

So in order to organise multiple small groups, we have had to implement a booking system for the walks. If you wish to book on to a walk in Cranbrook, please contact Mark Lawrence on: mark.lawrence@tunbridgewells.gov.uk or 07808 205083 and let him know your preferred day.
