Locally produced Pear Juice

Wellbeing in the Weald is well known in the area for its locally picked and pressed fruit juices. In 2024, we have 1L bottles of pear juice for sale at the events we either run ourselves, or attend with a stall. It is also available to buy in a number of local shops, including, Welcome Stores in the High Street; Willow and Sage (by the glass), and Wilkes Butchers, in Stone Street; Cranbrook Farm Shop & Nursery in Swattenden Lane; together with Benenden Community Shop in The Street, Benenden. We are grateful to all these shops for selling the juice on behalf of Wellbeing in the Weald.

We are also very grateful to Paddy for kindly donating six rows of pear trees in one of his orchards in Benenden to make the juice, and also to local farmer, Colin, for all his help and advice with pruning the trees, to enable us to get the best yield next year.

Fruit Juices

We have been lucky enough to have been kindly donated both apples and pears from local orchard owners in the last few years. Our lovely volunteers come and pick the fruit in the autumn when the land owner invites us to do so. We then take all the picked fruit off to Ringden Farm in Hurst Green for Nathan and Chris to work their magic and turn the fruit into our delicious juice.

The proceeds from selling our popular fruit juices are crucial to contribute towards our ongoing fundraising activities.

In 2024 we will be offering pear juice as we have been able to produce a good number of bottles to sell throughout the year.

Like all charities, we are reliant on the generosity of the general public and local businesses to help us continue our good work to help and support people in making their lives better.

Thank you to everyone who supports Wellbeing in the Weald in whatever way.
