Welcome Wednesday Drop-in
One of our most popular events is our get together on a Wednesday afternoon in the Church. Just come along anytime between 2pm and 3.30pm to enjoy some time chatting with others. We also have our friendly volunteers around who more than happy to listen, if you just need someone to talk to.
Tea, coffee and hot chocolate is available, as well as a selection of delicious home made cakes. We make no charge for this but any voluntary donations are gratefully received.
The company is varied and lively. Conversations and laughter flow. It’s an ideal opportunity to meet and chat with other local residents and to make new friends.
Should you choose, there are board and card games available to play. Sometimes there is a table quiz for those who wish to participate. We also have a computer specialist who comes along sometimes to help anyone with any laptop, tablet or phone issues they may be having. So remember to bring those along if you need help.

From time to time, we have other external instructors come along to teach or assist our attendees with learning something new, e.g. ukulele lessons. We also arrange occasional visits to places of interest a bit further afield.
Young people from nearby Cranbrook School also drop in to say hello and meet with people from the local community and are very happy to chat and play games with our attendees.

This event is very informal and relaxed and you can interact with others as much or as little as you like. St Dunstan's Church is heated, so is nice and warm in the winter time, but pleasantly cool in the summer.
